COMPASS - University of Florida

Previewing fall 2016 implementations

Welcome—or welcome back—to UF COMPASS Update, our newsletter designed to share COMPASS information and updates among program participants and stakeholders throughout UF. COMPASS is a multi-year effort to modernize and unify UF’s student services systems to benefit students as well as faculty and staff who use and need access to student-related information.

This issue of Update previews COMPASS-CRM, the new constituent relationship management system for student prospecting and recruitment, and the CollegeNET Coalition application for freshmen. Initial releases of both are planned for fall 2016, providing UF with new tools for attracting a diverse group of applicants, managing their admissions process, and facilitating successful college experiences for these students once they arrive on campus. In addition, Update talks to Shannon Parrish, an undergraduate admissions officer and COMPASS team member.

Enjoy these snapshots and stay tuned to your inbox for future Updates. For more information on COMPASS, including past Update articles, be sure to explore the COMPASS website.
